How much is a windshield?

Old Style (pre 1985.5)

New Style (1985.5+)

Both invoices are from Safelite, a nationwide (?) chain. The first invoice is from the first try, using the old-style windshield. It didn't fit.

The second invoice is the proper windshield for a 1986.

March 2008 Update

$532 and the damn thing cracked a year later!

Thankfully, it was replaced under warranty. It looks like the price has gone up.

March 2007: $490.90 + $41 tax = $532
March 2008: $512.95 + $43 tax = $556

4.5% increase.
